Sock Hop

The Girl Scouts had a Sock Hop.

Imagine, 100 or so girls under 16ish running around in sock feet, BOMBing music, and LOTS of girlie screaming/giggling/crying.

To answer your question"Yes it was fun."
(I was, for the first time in weeks, glad my ears were ringing it made it almost bearable)

Hot Little Chickie!!!

Blue and Gold

The Blue and Gold Banquet was on the 28th.
Check out that handsome man in the middle.
(the old guy behind him isn't that bad either)
Then Kris takes a picture like (see below) this and I start to question my thought process!!!
Nah I married him a few bad pictures is an okay price to pay.
(Love you, honey!!! -SS)

Just so everyone knows - I may be in the hospital until Monday the 22nd.

I am doing a 3 day reg. of chemo - I will do this twice (the next one will be in three weeks) and then they will test me again to see how the cancer is responding.

After that they will work on matching me with bone marrow transplant.

Thank you for you prays and your concerns.

Please do not be worried - I am not worried.

Update about me

I started suffering from shortness of breath and heart palpatations on our trip to Washington D.C., but truth be told they never really went away from the first threatment. I assumed that they were just side effects from the chemo and/or the radiation (because they are side effects).

I saw my primary doctor on Jan. 19th - he ordered a CAT and chest xray.

I then made the mistake of calling my Oncologist - he looked at the test results sayed that there was a change in my mass but hoped it was just scar tissue - and ordered an injection fraction.

Then I met the nice Cardiologist - he ordered and I had a EKG on Feb 10th.

Met with my Oncologist in the 12th - he didn't want to and was really hoping that he was wrong - he ordered the PET.

Had the PET on the 15th at 1:30.

My Oncologist called me at 9:00 am this morning and my cancer is back. The ywanted to admit me to the hospital today. But Kaitlyn's play was today and I AM A MOM FIRST! - I will go the hospital tomorrow.

The photo isn't good but I have hair. - I even went red for Valentines Day.
I will keep everyone up to date.

STONE SOUP A ROCK OPERA

This is the big pot with carrots, peas, a ear of corn, a potato, a cabbage, and the stones.

Soo cute. See Kaitlyn (all the girls wore bonnets) and Kevin (all the boys wore vests that I made) they were 2 of the 4 chanters.
